Our Massey Ferguson Super Red paint has been carefully researched for accuracy and is ideal for both general restoration and for those preparing tractors for competitions.
This oil based enamel paint has been colour-matched to the original colour for:
- Massey Ferguson 100 series
- Massey Ferguson 200 series
- Massey Ferguson 500 series
- Massey Ferguson 600 series
- Massey Ferguson 2000 series
This paint has a quick drying high gloss finish for brush or spray application. Suitable for application to wood or metal, internally or externally. Maintains gloss finish beyond many conventional products. Highly durable and resistant to oil, petrol and many other chemicals.
Methods of Application
Brush, roller or spray. Coverage: 10-12 sq/m per litre.
Note: Drying times can vary considerably, dependant on temperature & humidity.
Thinners
Appropriate thinners must be used for thinning and cleaning equipment. Our TH25 thinners is suitable for use with this paint.
Application to Wood
- Sand surface to standard suitable for wood finishing.
- Ensure that all surfaces are clean and dry.
- Apply one coat of primer (for best results sand when dry and wipe clean).
- Apply 1 to 2 coats of gloss.
Application to Ferrous Metal
- Remove rust and loose paint. Ensure surface is degreased and free of contaminates.
- Apply one coat of primer (for best results sand when dry and wipe clean).
- Apply 1 to 2 coats of gloss.
Application to Galvanised Surfaces & Aluminium
- Remove rust and loose paint. Ensure surface is degreased and free of contaminates.
- Apply one coat of etch primer (for best results sand when dry and wipe clean).
- Apply 1 to 2 coats of gloss.
Note
We do our best to supply all of our paint to a high consistency of colour. However, there can be subtle differences between batches and we therefore recommend that customers purchase enough paint to complete the intended task.
